Cosmetologist

1. What was most challenging for you in cosmetology school? Why?
2. How have you handled making mistakes at your job?
3. When you first went to cosmetology school, what were your hopes for your future?
4. What is the most interesting part of your job?
5. If you had a choice, who would you prefer to have as your customer base (men, women, children)?

  1. 1. The most challenging thing was being confident in my talents. You have to be very creative and go with your gut. You are responsible for peoples self esteem. People do care how they look.
    2. Everyone makes mistakes it is what you learn from your mistakes. I have been doing hair for 10+ years and I am always learning. That is why I love what I do so much.
    3. My hopes at 1st was to make $$$$$$$$.. but i sooned learnedthat it takes years to build a cliental. i know now that I do what I do because I love it and the $$$$ is def. nice. but there is no benifits/insurance. (depending where u choice as a salon)
    4. The most intersting part of my job is the people!!!!! You really end up becoming family with sum of them!!! and sum wow just make u gossip! lol!
    5. I personally love all three choices. for me men are easy quick cuts. women are looking for advice and colrs and styles. children are sweet and entertaining.
I started off after highschool thinking I was going to be a nurse. but when that dream ended because i couldnt pass the test. I said i would get my cosmetlogy lic. It was BEST idea I have ever had. I love my job...
